Therapy can be appropriate for children with the following difficulties:

  • speech sound difficulties – dyspraxia, phonological delay/disorder, articulation difficulties

  • delay in understanding language – e.g. vocabulary, grammar or instructions

  • delay in spoken language – difficulties with vocabulary, recalling words, sentence construction


  • poor attention and listening skills

  • dysfluency (stammering/stuttering)

  • social and communication - difficulties with the unspoken rules of interaction
