Therapy can be appropriate for children with the following difficulties:
- speech sound difficulties dyspraxia, phonological delay/disorder, articulation difficulties
- delay in understanding language e.g. vocabulary, grammar or instructions
- delay in spoken language difficulties with vocabulary, recalling words, sentence construction
- poor attention and listening skills
- dysfluency (stammering/stuttering)
- social and communication - difficulties with the unspoken rules of interaction
